WOW factor at
PARK LANE TOURIST PARK – TRARALGON
Looking for somewhere quiet and welcoming to stay during your travels, or
a great family holiday destination?
As a guest you are spoilt with many
choices, welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyment of the 4.5 star
facilities.
When checking in we were welcomed by
friendly staff, assisted with tourist information for the surrounding
area – Walhalla Historic Gold
Town, Tarra Bulga
National Park,
Powerworks Open Cut Mine tour information along with day trip maps.
We settled for a large, drive-thru site
with an en suite. The well equipped cabin accommodation made us feel at
home very quickly.
WOW – then to decide what to
experience first...we all know we should do the washing etc but the new
mini golf course won! After a couple of rounds of golf we hired a peddle
go-kart to tour throughout the park – fun had by all!
By this time it was time for a
“cuppa” – with a multi-choice hot drinks machine
producing far better than average coffee & hot chocolate we sat at
the alfresco area near the camp kitchen enjoying the tranquil
surroundings.
WOW - All refreshed we experienced the
large jumping pillow followed by a relaxing spa which was heated and
indoors.
Heading back to our accommodation we
couldn't resist a challenge of table tennis in the spacious games room
and to our delight found the comfortable TV room with large screen TV and
comfortable lounge suite to relax.
After a wonderful, peaceful sleep in a
comfortable bed we wandered up for breakfast at the new Caf?Bar.
WOW – how many courses are you
supposed to have for breakfast?
We enjoyed a glass of juice while the
staff made us a hot drink (do I want latte, cappuccino, hot
chocolate...so much choice early in the morning) then a small (maybe not
that small) bowl of cereal. Maybe I can squeeze in a small serving of hot
food...
WOW, freshly cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes along with toast but
I also want to taste the pancakes!
Now I have to change into elastic
waisted pants for traveling, WOW what a breakfast!
I strongly recommend staying at Park Lane Tourist
Park to experience
all they have to offer - you will need more than one night to enjoy the
surrounding local attractions.
